Recognition is the driver to Employee engagement at workplace

Abstract
Employee engagement is based on integrity, trust, two way commitment and communication between an organisation and its members. It is an approach that increases the chances of business success, contributing to organizational and individual performance, productivity and well-being. It can be measured. It varies from poor to great. It can be nurtured and dramatically increased; it can lost and thrown away. Employee Engagement is important for the survival of any organization. From this study, it is found that majority of the workers were satisfied with the employee engagement practice. The sampling technique involved in this research is simple random sampling. The study throws light upon some important factors of reward and recognition, opportunities, team work, immediate supervisor, quality of life and recreational activities among the employees.
