Editorial Policy
All submitted manuscripts are evaluated by the Editorial Board to ensure they meet the journal’s quality, relevance, and ethical standards. Manuscripts that meet initial screening criteria are subjected to a double-blind peer review process by at least two independent reviewers.
Peer Review Process
- Double-blind peer review: both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
- Review timeline: typically, 3–4 weeks.
- Manuscripts may be accepted, revised, or rejected based on reviewer feedback.
- Final decisions rest with the Editor-in-Chief.
- The journal maintains strict confidentiality and ensures an unbiased review process to uphold academic integrity.
Publication Ethics Statement
MSRMR adheres to the Publication Ethics guidelines and expects all authors, reviewers, and editors to uphold ethical standards.
Key Policies Include:
- Originality: Submissions must be original and not plagiarized.
- Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts.
- Authorship: Only those who significantly contributed to the research should be listed as authors.
- Data Integrity: Authors must present accurate data and methodology.
Any violations of ethical standards will lead to immediate rejection or retraction of the article.
Open Access and Copyright Policy
Access
MSRMR provides open access to all published content, supporting the principle that research should be freely available to the public.
Copyright
Authors retain copyright and grant MSRMR a license to publish their work. Articles are published under the terms of a Creative Commons license which permits use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium provided the original work is properly cited.
Indexing and Archiving
M.S. Ramaiah Management Review is indexed in multiple recognized academic and research databases, ensuring enhanced discoverability and global visibility of published research. The journal is currently indexed in:
- JGATE
- Google Scholar
- Crossref (with DOI assignment for all articles)
- Clever Fox Publishing
All published articles are archived permanently and assigned unique Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to ensure long-term access, citation tracking, and digital preservation.
The journal is also in the process of applying for inclusion in additional international indexing platforms to further increase reach and citation impact.

- Manuscript Types and Word Limits
M.S. Ramaiah Management Review accepts high-quality submissions in the following formats. Authors should adhere to the word limits specified for each type (excluding references, tables, and figures):
Empirical Research Articles
Original research using primary data and statistical analysis.
Word limit: 3,000 – 5,000 words
Theoretical Papers
Development of theories or conceptual frameworks.
Word limit: 3,000 – 4,000 words
Conceptual Papers
Novel conceptual models, synthesized perspectives, or critical analysis.
Word limit: 2,500 – 4,000 words
Systematic Literature Reviews / Meta-Analyses
Structured synthesis of existing literature using systematic methods.
Word limit: 4,000 – 8,000 words
Case Studies
Contextual, organization-specific studies offering practical insights.
Word limit: 4,000 – 6,000 words
Manuscript Structure
Authors are requested to organize their manuscripts using the following structure:

Abstract (maximum 300 words)
Keywords (4–6 keywords)

Title & Author Details
Title Format
Use title case: Capitalize major words (nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs).
Do not capitalize prepositions, articles, and conjunctions unless they start the title.
Capitalize the first word after a colon.
Scientific names should be italicized.
Example: Local Staging of Colon Cancer: A Cross-Sectional Analysis
Author Names and ORCID
Provide full names: [First name] [Middle name/initial] [Last name]
Include ORCID iDs in this format: Dr. A. K. Sharma [https://orcid.org/0000-000X-XXXX-XXXX]
Designate the corresponding author using an asterisk (*) and provide their email address only.
Affiliations
List Department, Institution, City, and Country for each author.
Abstract & Keywords
Abstract
Maximum 300 words.
Do not cite references.
Keywords: 4 to 6 keywords in title case, separated by commas.
Avoid generic terms and abbreviations.
Style & Formatting
Language and Spelling
Use American English consistently.
Use serial (Oxford) comma: e.g., marketing, strategy, and innovation.
Punctuation
Periods and commas inside quotation marks.
Double quotation marks, except for nested quotes: “this is ‘nested’.”
Numbering & Headings
Use Arabic numbering (e.g., 1, 1.1, 1.1.1).
Example: 1. Strategic Leadership in Emerging Markets
No capitalization after a colon in subheadings.
Abbreviations & Units
Define abbreviations on first use, e.g., Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Use SI units (e.g., km, °C, kg).
Scientific symbols: use α, β, μ, etc.
Use commas as thousand separators: 10,000 not 10000.
Date Format: Use British date format: 24 October 2025
Equations
Provide editable equations in Word or LaTeX format.
Do not submit equations as images.
Figures and Tables
Figures
High resolution (minimum 300 PPI), in TIFF, JPEG, or EPS format.
Cite all figures in-text sequentially: <Insert Figure 1 here>
Captions should be included at the end of the manuscript.
Example: Figure 1. Detection Rate Across Models
Tables
Caption format: Table 1. Market Segmentation by Region
Avoid tables longer than one page.
Use footnotes to explain abbreviations where needed.
Acknowledgements
Mention individuals or institutions that contributed to the research but are not listed as authors.
