Abstract
The study is conducted to chalk out and determine the various factors that influence consumer buying behavior in apparel retail. To determine and understand the various factors affecting consumer buying behavior towards private label brands in apparel retail. The study aims to find out in particular the effect of occupation and social class of consumer on customer choice of design for private label apparel. With the spurring growth of organized apparel retail sector in India, the study provides an empirical analysis on the consumer behavior and its related outcomes. This study can provide an additional insight into the apparel retail industry and can be used for future deductions.
